Mr. King is a litigation attorney, African investment lawyer, and environmental law specialist. Mr. King has served as counsel in World Bank employment litigation, acted as second-chair at trial and on appeal in the District of Columbia, and assisted investors in the development of their African projects.

Mr. King served formerly as Managing Editor of the scholarly journal of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and advised the Secretary-General on institutional affairs. Mr. King has also advised the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR-AAA).

Mr. King holds his BA from Duke University, and his JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During his JD program, Mr. King served as Business Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy, undertook studies in Europe, and interned with the U.S. Department of Energy. During his LLM program at the George Washington University Law School, Mr. King specialized in environmental and energy law.
